To fully enjoy your eyelash extension session at Luxelashbar, careful preparation is essential. Here are our professional tips to arrive relaxed and ensure optimal results.

Before the Session

Avoid eye makeup and moisturizing creams around the eye area on the day of your appointment. Greasy residues reduce the adhesion of the glue. If you wear contact lenses, prefer glasses that day. A shower or bath is recommended the night before, as you will need to avoid water for 24 to 48 hours after the application.

On the Day

Arrive with a clean face and no mascara. Our technicians will cleanse your natural lashes with a gentle shampoo before starting. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid turtlenecks that could rub against your new lashes. A coffee or light tea is allowed, but avoid very hot drinks just before.

After the Application

Do not wet your lashes for the first 24 hours. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and steam baths. Gently brush your lashes every morning with a clean brush. Use a specific mascara for extensions, without oil. Regular maintenance every 3 to 4 weeks is recommended to maintain a perfect volume.

Can I Wear Mascara with Extensions?

It is not recommended to use regular mascara, as it can weaken the adhesive and weigh down the extensions. Opt for a special extension-safe mascara, oil-free and water-based, and remove it gently.
